Early Marriage and its Association with the Socioeconomic and Sociocultural Factors of Women in Sudan: A Predictive Model

Background: Early marriage is spreading in Sudan, like most African countries. defined as any that happens before the age of 18. a human rights violation and has huge negative effect, especially on girls. Objectives: The aim this study was to assess prevalence determinants socioeconomic sociocultural factors associated with women's early Gezira state Sudan. Methods: depended primary data from (2021). adopted questionnaire tool for collection. designed collect variables related marriage. descriptive statistics, chi-square test, logistic regression model were used analyze collected data. Results: results revealed among females 54.9%, rural areas 57.3%, there significant association between unemployment. result showed relationship such area, wealth index quantile, unemployment, exposure media. Whereas found an insignificant low financial condition leading marriage, one signs urbanization, immigrant cultures support establishing good maternal child mother.
